the Wide Tank ETS is the one designed for the IX front bumper right?

Your correct. It will still fit 8 front bumpers if you had one.

can you post a better pic showing the front end of the car so i can get a good idea of how the Wide tank FMIC fits in the 8 bumper

BTW The ETS 3.5" fmic you have is a "standard" tank. "Widetank" is made, more or less for the IX and has less core. GLWS
