glws nice pieces, hw much weight do you think is saved with that fuel cell setup? and how many gallons is it?

 

5 Gallon, and I'd imagine 20-50 lbs depending on how much of the fuel system were referring to. The cell itself weighs probably 8lbs.

I did some research, and weighing. The fuel cell setup will save you 35.5Lbs DRY.The fuel cell itself weighs 8lbs and fuel pump weighs approximately 15. The stock tank, fuel pump, and evaporator weigh 58.5. In the stock fuel system, fuel starvation also becomes an issue when you run under 12 gallons due to the design of the tank. This fuel cell is purpose designed to combat this issue.

If fuel weighs ~7lbs per gallon, at 5 gallons in the fuel cell compared to 12 gallons in the tank, you are saving yourself an additional 49lbs with no negative consequences. You could technically run even less in the fuel cell.

So, basically. 35.5lbs dry, and an additional minimum of 49lbs wet net you at least 84.5lbs of weight savings at the track.

Not to mention, tons of fueling capabilities.
