Borg Warner EFR9180 Supercore Turbo

I'm selling my lightly used Borg Warner EFR9180 supercore turbo. The supercore is basically a complete turbo minus the hot side housing. You can get a T3, 1.05 T4, or 1.45 T4 housing for it, this way you can get whatever you need. The turbo has approximately 1,000 miles on it. The turbo has always been ran with coolant plumbed to it and has only had Brad Penn and Valvoline VR1 oil ran though it. There is nothing wrong with it, I even had it inspected by Borg Warner. Unfortunately, during shipping from Borg Warner the compressor housing outlet was slightly bent. The bend is underneath where your coupler will be so you won't see it. In a few of the pictures you can see the bend at the outlet flange. I can take more pictures at buyers request.

The nick that you see above the blow off valve cover is from it vibrating against the transmission. These are a very tight fit so you have to clock the compressor housing around until it contacts the transmission.

The only reason I'm selling this turbo is because my car was acting up and I thought it may have been the turbo, so I bought another one and replaced it. Turns out it wasn't the turbo. This one is in perfect working condition, I just have no use for two of them.

1300.00 shipped

When turbo was brand new.

Currently.

What boost did you drive with? And did it leak coolant or something?

I ran it at 40 psi on my car. Nah, it was on an evo and they have this big hole in the hood where rain comes through.

What are the turbine wheel dimensions? ... hoping you have a caliper. 80/74mm?
