Who built the engine? Any documentation on the blueprinting measurements?

^^ Exactly what I was going to ask. Hard to buy an engine with no documentation or history about it.

Was a stretch gauge used on the rod bolts?
What machine work was done?
Was the engine built with tighter or looser clearances?
What was the condition of the short block before being built for the stroker? How much over bore?

All very important questions a potential buyer of this engine needs to know the answers to.

I agree with you guys, although I got the engine in a barter so I'm not positive on the details. The friend needed money and a torquey stroker sounded real good to me at the time but I decided to keep my car a 2.0L so I can rev higher so I'm selling the 2.3 and using the 2.0L I built for mine. I had no hesitation using this engine.

As far as the bore size the piston part number (the 85) shows the piston size which tells if it was bored or not which should to be 85mm factory bore. I can take the rod caps and mains off to look at bearing sizes but I honestly don't have the time to measure every single spec so I'm willing to sell it for a GOOD Price to offset the lack of details. I can take pics of bearings/crank etc to show the condition, measure piston/wall clearance, (but not pull out pistons) etc if anyone is interested but I just dont have time to measure every single spec but I will do what's needed to show the parts are new (crank and pistons are $1k right there)

Like I said I'm willing to sell this for a GOOOD deal to offset the lack of details, if you're local to NJ then just make a reasonable offer! I don't need it anymore. My loss is your gain. There's at least $1300+ in parts alone in this.

Right on to the OP to coming through with details to the best of his abilities.

Thank you. While I could easily name some reputable shop and make up some clearances to make it all sound great (I know many people that would too) I wouldn't want it done to me so I'm just explaining the story and take a price cut to offset it.

Ive had so much interest in this but I guess no one serious or can't afford it because the holidays. I want to clear out some stuff and make room so lowering price to $1999. Also have an exedy triple for rebuild.
