I was about to buy an OEM shortblock from a vendor.. but their price went up $200. F that LOL. So then i contacted Tom @ TSCompTuned and was going to have him build mine, but I don't want the down time, if i can avoid it.
So, does anyone have a low-mileage OEM or built short block for sale? The less mileage, the better.
And no: I do not have the money to pay for a short block up front and send mine back as a core.

Lemme know what you got!

Decided to keep the car?

Looks like it is pretty simple and I read somewhere ams has a solution for it.

Are you close to road race? I would give them a call and discuss your options.

If I do all this, I'll be keeping it, yup! I have my OEM and Autometer oil pressure sensors running off my OFH, so not really sure what other options I have.

Well, I was suggesting that you have one of the reputable shops out in Cali, that have been around for a long, time such as road race, do the work for you.

For the price you are going to pay for shipping... I would just use that towards labor.

Correct me if I'm wrong... The feed comes off the back f the block for mivec not the ofh

Side note, Wise choice (in my opinion) to keep your car.

Not if I use the VIII short block quoted above.
