Amsoil (apagan01), HIDs (XenonDepot), Strut Mounts (TireRack), and GT3 Brake Glides

I think the thread title is long enough :P

Spring is here, including all the fun spring time events - turning back on the outside water, cleaning up the yard, remembering what the sun feels like, and most importantly - getting your car ready for battle...errr, upcoming racing season.

Reviews
Had a bunch on the docket for this next season.

apagan01 - oil and brake fluid:
5w-20 Amsoil and DOT4 fluid from apagan01. Super fast, easy to work with. Need I say more?

XenonDepot - HID kits:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...-save-big.html

For my new DEPO headlights, I decided to finally get a set of HIDs. I never had owned a car with them. Man, what I was missing. I picked up two sets of their Xtreme Digital HID kits. 5000k for the driving lights (bi-xenon (high/low are one bulb on the Focus)). And 3000k fog lights. Wiring (thanks to MR Turco) was awesome and easy to do.

Mounted in new headlights:

What the old ones looked like:

Driving lights (from what I understand, the bulbs will burn in at 20hrs use):

Fog Lights (passenger side is an old fog, rock broken the drive side. So that one is new. I will be replacing the passenger one also - makes a difference in light output).

All On:

TireRack - Strut Mounts:
My OEM strut mounts (no camber plates here) were beat. 110k of use = lots of play. By far, the best prices I found on replacements where from TireRack. So thanks to Neal, picked them up here for a steal at $23 each (I wont scare you with what an Evo strut mount costs).

Big difference in handling. Took all the play out of the old mounts. Can feel it.

Porsche GT3 Brake Glides:

goofygrin came up with this awesome idea for the X. I was curious to see if I could get them to work on my car too. Indeed they do, backwards. I tried to mount them as they should point, however, they directed the air the wrong way. But backwards, as pictured below, does direct are into the wheel/brake area. Should be interesting to try out.

Additional Thanks:
MR Turco for helping with everything.

Discount Tire Direct - price matched and heat cycled my NT01s. Sorry Neal, wish you guys offered the NT01s.

Car looks like the sun is coming out of it. I was very impressed with the Depot headlights and the Xenon kits. The harnesses were very professional crimped and setup.

Not too bad for a few hours after work
