GTX3584RS - 1000HP in a GT35 Frame?
#16
So who's going to try this thing out?
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...gers/gtx3584rs
New 9 blade turbine wheel
90lb/min on a 67/84mm wheel
Also reverse rotation GTX30/GTX35 turbos out...

Wonder how adaptable the FP housing will be actually. Wouldn't be surprised if they cast it to do just such as I think FP has pretty heavy ties with Garrett and probably knew these were in the pipeline.

For the Evo?
Gets rid of the awkward routing manifolds seeing as the turbo inlet is no longer on the engine side. So, shorter, simpler, better manifold designs and the possibility of a direct bolt-on if someone like ATP decides to make an Evo turbine housing similar to the original rotation version they did.
For everyone else?
I imagine some might have the same issue. It appears to be targeted at twin turbo applications where the symmetry would look nicer or be better for fitment.

Exactly. For applications where the turbo would sit on the right/passenger side of the engine bay on a longitudinally mounted engine. S2000, Supra, all the BMW inline-6's, any V engine, Mustang Ecoboost, etc.

I'll be the first to buy a reverse rotation turbo when they make a t3 twinscroll manifold that moves the turbo closer to the driver side toward the tb so I can just get two bends going into the TB
