Perpetual Work in Progress - My Widebody IX
Well, I've finally got it to where I'm happy and comfortable driving around in her again. It's been a long road and, sure, the things-to-buy list is longer than a Leonard Cohen song but she sure knows how to make me crack a smile and that's why we do it, right?
It looks like a monster truck in the pics because the way my driveway slopes up and then drops down.
Specs:
18 x 11.5 -6 offset, square setup
335/30/18 R888
Swift Spec-R/stock KYBs

Yea I hate stance and I hate camber so that'll never happen on this car as long as I own it. This is gonna be a purpose built track car so I went with the widest kit I could find.

Wowzers that is wide! Thank you for putting real meat under those fenders. Curious to see how much your wheel bearings hate you with such a crazy low offset. Any reason you went with such a low ofset vs a lil higher and being able to tuck even more tire?
Also, which intercooler do you have on there? It looks to be tube and fin which is what Im after for my new setup...

Yea, in reality, I probably should've gone with a 315 tire but I saw it possible to make it happen with some fender work. BFH, dremel, and more BFH. I got a 25 row Setrab oil cooler and, once I get the bracket modded to push that a little forward, I should have full lock-to-lock turn radius.
As if the Evo turning radius was good to begin with

It looks like a regular evo that has taken anabolic steroids and received collagen injections, very unique! I bet lateral grip in the dry is amazing. Have you driven it in the rain with those steamrollers? What's the sphincter pucker factor?
