maxed out FP GREEN?
ladies & gents curious to see if anyone has ever maxed out their green?? assuming there is a built bottom end how much boost could that green handle ?? 37-40psi? and if so what are some dyno #s that have been put down

FP Green will be hurting at 37-40 psi. Wouldn't it be out of the compressor map efficiency zone? That is actually more FP Black territory and they don't even want to be ran that high. I would say a 450 to 500hp as well on E85 but again, it won't be happy.
This is going to depend on a lot of factors because max boost is a measure of the restriction of air that passes through your engine, not just the air pressure a turbo is capable of creating. A build with full bolt ons, lower compression ratio, cams, and a ported head, will flow air easier than a bone stock engine with minimal bolt ons and no head work. This can make it harder or easier for a turbo to generate boost. A turbo who's outlet is vented to the atmosphere will produce 0psi regardless of how much you over spin it. It's all relative.

Depends how long you want it last. Someone once post some "questionable" ~600whp numbers from a green. But realistically, mid 500whp is where it will be fairly happy.

Pretty sure Curt Brown did like 6 and change on one but this was max effort no wg full kill. Nothing about that is recommended to a normal person but Curt isn't exactly a normal person
So again, as already mentioned if you want it to stay together something in the 5's is a safer bet.

I maxed out an MHI Green on my stock bottom end. Car had Cosworth M2s, 1120s, E85, and 35psi of boost. Made around 500whp and 400 ft lbs. Turbo was still good when I pulled it 3 years later while changing setups. Car was a blast on the street.

For those of you that have not looked lately, FP has a new Green turbine wheel configuration that is a big leap forward in performance.

it pairs FP's new 9 blade UHF FP54 turbine wheel to the 73 HTZ compressor wheel to make a quicker spooling Green that still flows 57LB per minute. Comes in the MHI turbine housing, too.
The new turbine wheel is also used on the Red, if you need more HP.

That was the 2016 version of the 54 Green. The new Green is a very different animal.
The just released version of the 54Green has the ultra high flow turbine wheel, and although it comes with the MHI turbine internal waste gate housing, it can be had with the SS external gate turbine housing. Both of these improvements make the newest Green more responsive and higher HP. The ultra high flow turbine wheel is a huge improvement, and coupled with the 73HTZ wheel (my previous MHI DBB Green used a 73HTA), still gives 57 lb/min flow and quicker spool. Choose the SS external waste gate turbine housing and eliminate the "blow-open" waste gate flapper problems that some users experienced with the MHI housing version, which will give a lot more power and consistency under the curve. I'll have one on the dyno in a week or so, followed by a UHF Red, so comparisons between them will be available.
My previous MHI housing DBB Green made 482/462 on a Mustang dyno, and was capable of quite a bit more, but the factory internal waste gate configuration limited the boost. With that solved with a SS external waste gate turbine housing and a Tial external waste gate, I'm excited that this will be the best street turbo yet.
