Anyways, at this point it seems more like a IE bug then anything else. Especially since sites like Yahoo, CNET, and MSN are getting the same complaints. Guess you may need to switch to firefox until IE comes out with a patch.

Hey Ali,
Sorry to bother you, but I'm still getting these messages as well. I got it on page 2 of this thread.
I probably get these one time out of five or six here at work, and one time out of ten at home on my laptop. Both Internet Explorer.
Seth
Edit: I have a shot of the DNS Error Screen it goes to as well, but the file is a bit too large to upload here. Let me know if you want me to email it.

No bother at all. This is what I'm here for.
As for the error messages, if you are using IE version 6 + there is a known bug that MS is trying to fix. Unfortunately IE seems to throw the operation aborted messages when there seems to be an image uploaded in a post. There are a couple reasons for this:
1. Communication with photobucket (or other picture upload sites) isn't fast enough to render the image to the page. What happens is the code to load/display the image finishes before the image. When the image finally finishes there is an error that IE can't handle and thus a "Operation Aborted" error pops up.
2. Any object that loads on the page (flash is part of this) and the plugin is corrupted or has some type of issues, causes the Operation Aborted issue. Also I've seen this error pop up on certain pages that utilize "div" tags to alter page placement, which is weird.
My only suggestion is to make sure you do your software updates or install firefox, netscape, or another browser. The IE issue is happening on other sites as well and MS knows about the problem. Hopefully a fix is coming soon.

I see what you're saying, but this is the only site where it happens, and it happens all the time. I frequent _MANY_ other Evo sites with pics uploaded from all over, but it never happens. It may be an IE problem, but it's definitely being triggered by something on this site that isn't present on tons of other similar sites.

CRAP I GOT THE ERROR!!!! I'll see if I can get a screenshot next time it happens, since I forgot to do it.. It doesn't do it on my laptop but I get it on my home computer!
I'll wait and see what MS does to resolve this... Thanks

Bottom line is I'm not abandoning any idea of trying to fix any issue that may be with the site, however, its difficult to pin point something when you know that IE has a known bug to begin with.
