To be honest, it's good that you suggested it, that way people can realize there is other things besides the standard search.

The other closed threads were repeats and not helpful. This one happens to be helpful.

As Robert said, we don't go around throwing the banstick for no reason. As a matter of fact, I haven't banned anybody yet today and I fully intend to keep it that way.

This function has stopped working, it doesn't show my current posts.

Now I know some grumpy mod will come in here and say,

"well just go to user CP and Stats and you can find your posts" or something along those lines...

So what gives? How about some resolution.

Hey, related search question just out of curiosity, and no, I don't have an example (though this thread would be one if I knew who started the unmerged threads). If you do a search for threads started by a user and there is/has been a mega-merge, will it show the mega-merge thread for ALL the users who started each separate thread that has been merged? Meaning if Person A starts "Crash Thread 1" and Person B starts "Crash Thread 2" If they are merged to be "Crash Thread mega-merge" will it show up as a thread started for both person B and person A? Or how does it show up, only as Person A starting the thread? Or does it show up still as the old threads and link you to the new one?

AFAIK, once threads are merged, only the first poster in the newly merged thread will get the credit for starting it when searching.

no % relelvance and no repeats
who ever changed it/fixed step away from the pc

hey guys. every time i use the search feature it comes up with threads not even related to what i am looking for. it also does not come up with anything that i am looking for. is it me or does the search functions on this site flat out suck??

i used to use it all the time with good success. and now when i go to use it and type the same things in i get nothing but crap.
