post count for classifieds

fairly new to these forums but i am a memeber on many. Ive seen this rule before and just done feel its neccisary.

basically, your going to have every new member clutter the forums with 50 useless posts just to get their post count up to post to the classefides.

the only thing i do see is that you want people to be known before they start making transactions.

many come on to look at cars. It would be very hard to scam someone when dealing with vehicles so that rule would get overturned.

not trying to start problems, but i just wanted to state my 2cents.

thanks

Good for you. If you do not like the rule - then don't post here.

The rule is in place to protect members from scammers. If someone wants to spam to 50, we tend to catch them - hog tie, burning in a fire, and feed the remains to Off Topic.

Exactly. If a member was selling/buying a part from a member with 5000 posts v. someone with 50 posts. The 5000 post member would hold more weight. We also use iTrader to rate transactions.

Ah, ya right. Its really easy to scam someone. Doesn't matter if its a car or blow off valve.

Two cents - noted.

Umm, it's actually very easy to scam people when dealing with cars and parts. I have no problem with the 50 post rule. I think it's a good idea and should possibly be increased. The thing you have to realize is that posting in the classifieds here is not a right, but a privelage...

Try reading for a while. Search on some topics that interest you. Then once you have good solid questions or good solid comments - post.

1) Spam my forum to get to 50 and I'll ban you. Ask around, I'm not kidding.
2) We see posts like these every few weeks or so, search this sub-forum to find out about it.
3) People have been scammed with cars, see here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...cam-alert.html
4) We offer our members FREE access to the marketplace, we only ask that they contribute to this community
5) your $0.02 is noted, was there anything else or any other questions I can answer?

Nice touch at the end there.

Since there is nothing further, I will consider this CLOSED///
