DON HERRING--- asked how much for an MR and the guy said "we dont even know what they are going to retail for." i said "it says online what they retail for" and he said "the prices online were not accurate." i asked him "the prices on mitsubishi's website arent accurate?" he says "oh yes their accurate but we havent decided what we are going to sell them for yet" i hung up i was getting dumber by the minute.

Gillman Mitsu (Austin).... the dealers were asking me questions about the car. went for a test drive and the salesman took it up to 125 the lit up the brakes... he said he had to drive it off the lot to warm it up.

you went for a test drive but the salesman drove the car? so what your saying is you went for a test ride.... man if i were looking for a new car, and the salesman only let me ride, i would be pissed. i was pissed enough when i went to test drive an STI and the sales man told me "no, not unless your ready to buy a 35,000 dollar sports car"... hehe jokes on him cause now i have my EVO

i got to drive, after he "warmed the car up" of course. rode along in a sti also, austin subaru is one of the best deaers in the US so i wasnt expecting much from them.
but after the mitsu guy flooring it, there was no way i was going to buy from him. who know what i would be getting!

Well the head tech and service manager were bragging to me a week ago about how they took their new black '05 Evo out and trashed on it, saying they took it up to 120-125 and were wailing on the brakes. Right after they told me this they started bullying me around and treating me like a dumb kid. Aint karma a b*tch? No one buy the black '05 evo from Gillman of San Marcos it has been ridden hard and put away wet!

when i was dealing with the service dept at don herring one of the sales men told me he lost control in an evo and did about 15k damage after spinning a few times during a test drive with potential customers. he had to pay the deductible but the car was repaired. you should check your vin. i'm not real sure how that car was sold, but i do know that they have a great body shop. this salesman was probably one of the few good guys there.
