Battle of the Alamo ?? Who will survive ?
I was greatly impressed with the Evospeed.net crew this weekend in Houston
Not only do they have a real tight crew and some fast whips - they also all really were great drivers. Those cars are some very fast evos and they have a lot of club pride. It's a great group.
I was thinking to set up a track day at the San Antonio drag track in mid to late February to see how the Houston guys could fare against some of the Dallas guys or other Texas crews from Austin or elsewhere
Maybe we could even draw in some other state evos ?
We would have both individual prizes and also a fastest car club prize.
Also - we could invite some STI's and have a STI vs. EVO part as well
What do you guys think ? Is there any interest in this ?

I am definately in. Either way (NTEC , Dynoflash, or someone else) it will be good to make the south a place not to recon with. I remember a time when we, evo-speed, had grand plans like this, it just fell of the bus somewhere.
On a side note, and not to start any sh@t, I want to commend Al. I am a member of the evo-speed crew here in Houston, but was not able to make the meet. I had already made commiments to go to Dallas for the TT tuning session. With that said, I heard that the minute he got off of the plane, he started tuning. From what I heard, this lasted till 5 am, and started right back up at 9 am. Whatever your tuning preference/shop, it is hard to find this sort of dedication. Once again, kudos to you Al.
