soo....i went to look for a new car today.

Out loooking for a new ride since what happen to my car, first went to lewisville mits checked out there evo 9 mr's i liked the grey one. Then went to huggins subaru looked at their 06 sti's their nice cars but salesguy was a bit to cocky about the sti. Last we went to DON HERRING in irving, didnt get to check out their 9's but i really liked the red 05 mr with 25k miles on it. It had a cf lip, black housing headlights, but what really concern me was that it had cams, reflash, and boost hitting 23psi that kinda freaked me out, but thats all the mods i think that were on it Don said he couldnt find a mbc or a ebc, i had a evo b4 and 23 is kinda high on a stock turbo to me i think. And i was wondering if the ex owner before had any crazy mods done to it. Because if so i might as well go for the 9 mr. Or if anyone knew the guy that owned it before.

Thanks

23 is what TT was tuning evo's too last summer. It's safe here on 93 octane.

I ran 22 - 23 psi on my first Evo, and I run 24 psi on number two. As long as he/she was careful in cold weather, it *should* be fine. But unfortunately, there is really no way to know how it was run unless you find the owner. Interviewing the owner is key...I always do it.

not to say anything bad about you danny23, but if you knew me, you would know how well i keep my cars. have i abused my car? no, but i have used my car..
motorsport ranch is my playground.. and i know how to drive.. thats why i have not needed to replace my stock clutch. (385awhp running very rich) if he or anybody wants a car thats ready to go, then this is the car..
But i do agree, i would want a new car myself. but i know what i am doing.

i'm not starting a he said she said, just stating some facts..

and a big thanks EZ

the last post was not toward you..
i would agree..
and like i send in the post, iwould rather have a new car myself. the 9's look great and handle better with the diff's (tranny)
happy hunting

its for a person who wants a car built with the right parts.
meaning a person who dosent think its fun to build it themselfs.

i would rather keep my car, my baby, but school is more important to me at this time of my life.
plus i will have many cars in do time...

thanks for your intrest... pass it along....

You can run 23, especially if you got ARP headstuds. Stock turbo is still efficient at that point.
