Wait....really stupid question here.
Can we drive on the track WITHOUT taking the classroom/driving school stuff? Just cruise out and go for a spin? I've never been so I have no idea what it's like or what the rules are. When Don said "Other members might also be on the track during the classroom session" it sounded like it might just be an open track for the club. Just want to clarify.
I may start heading that way around 10:30 or so. I'd just like to get out there and check the place out and look at all the cars, just cause I've never been.

Thanks for the clarification. I did mean to say Motor Sport Ranch Members will be on the track without necessarily going through the class. I know a couple of MSR members who will be on the track and not in the class.

Gents,
You will never be let out on the track w/o instruction. Members can sign guests in. It is on the member to make sure that person and drive and knows the rules and passing zones.

looks like there will be several members giving rides in their Evo as well as driving guest Evos from 9-5:00. Don't procrastinate and show up with the crowd and heat of the day!

old, 1.7 mile
shared with other sports cars and separate 30 minute sessions of open wheel, motorcycles and driving school track time
I don't know why the new track isn't used more often, especially when other events are using the old track and otherwise turning members away

APEX runs1.7 and members 1.3 Thats the only instance I can find.
The previous weekend CMRA ran 1.7, we got nothing. May CVRA ran, we got nothing. July DE runs, we get nothing.
March, it appears was just a one-time-deal.

well i got the coilovers on the evo last night (thanks EZ!!). i will be performing a corner balance tonight, adjust the ride height a bit (it is super low...), changing oil, brake fluid, and putting the harnesses back in, and try to bend my trunk back to fit the wing on (i know i'm a retard for that one). we'll see if the mods i have done have made it any faster around the track then when it was stock. my video camera battery is charging, and if i have time maybe i can find one of those suction cup mounts for the side of my car. i already have a bullet cam that will work for that... evo day looks to be pretty fun!!
