This is my first time attending an autocross but I was wondering if anybody else is planning on going. So far its just me and my buddies (Sti, Si, WRX Srt). Also if anybody has been to one, how was it? And did the EVO's rule the laptimes?

It's all about 90% driver skill/ 10% Car on an autocross. Don't be suprised if you get whipped by a 90hp CRX with a good driver.

It's about time another evo shows up for houston region autocross. I've been attending for two years and I am usually the only evo driver in there. And no, evo's don't rule laptimes only because I suck. I'll be there STB #14.

 

sounds good, what is your setup for the autox?

 

car is stock, only upgrade is hothckis rear sway bar. running on old azenis 215. the factory yokos were so much better. have fun. btw my house is pending sale, moving to nor cal, might not make it oct. 29 event but will try to attend oct. 8th texas A&M autocross. see you there if you can make it.

One of my first times out I barely beat a Yugo. I wish I were joking but I'm not.

Now, if he brought that Yugo out to Texas World Speedway I'd hand him his @ss.
