Just moved to Tulsa OK...is there 93 Octane?

Hey fellas...just moved from VA to Tulsa OK. I currently have my Jestr E-Flash for 93 Oct and can't seem to find any. Starting to get some knock as well...no counts over 5 yet but with the heat I bet it will go up. Shoud I retune to a 91 Oct Flash? Suggestions? Hope to get out to Tulsa Raceway Park before too long.

doesn't jestr offer fixes to the e-tunes for a certain amount of time? i would ask him about that. making minor adjustments for the 92 or 91 oct fuel would help eliminate the 5 count, and wont be that difficult to do.

Oklahoma has very few 93 octane pumps but you should be able to find one. Lots of stations are going to 91 though. Sucks as I was tuned for 93 also.

Most of the 93 pumps are in the southern part of the state. You may want to ask on www.ok-speed.com for specific pumps that may have 93 in Tulsa.

At least you are close to Hallett!

P.S. When should I upgrade my IX? Will I see gains with current mods? Most say the stocker is just fine with a TBE.

What exactly are you trying to do? Aniel Pagan is the best Evo guy in the Tulsa area. His shop is APR.

My bad it was supposed to "when should I upgrade my fuel pump on my IX?" I guess the stocker is good with a TBE, but what are the benefits to upgrading now with my current mods? Thanks!

Fuel pump should be upgraded when you raise boost past stock levels. It's an easy and cheap mod. All you gotta do is pull the seat and open the access port. It's plug and play.

Also, for above comment from Plano Evo, you gotta go to the liquer store for full strength beer (law says not allowed to be sold COLD), you gotta know where to look for the hotties (OU or OSU), and OU does not suck (graduated with a master's from there).
