The Carlton came out right around BMW & MB agreed to speed limit their cars to 155mph. With an honest top speed of >175mph, it caused a big stir in Europe as it was capable of 5-ish sec. 0-60mph and could stay with supercars made at the time, both in acceleration and top speed.

Point of interest:
14:30 Shimanchu gets a warning from the tower for trying to pass a mustang in a turn.
17:45 the tower calls "cool-down lap" then says "Black Evo behind the Saleen Mustang, you're gonna come talk to me after this track session."

So the situation was this. There were three cars in front of Shimanchu.

The #1 car was not watching his mirrors. He was the initial hold up. We were working on getting him to wake up and the train started.

The other issue was the #2 and #3 car did not appear to be all the interested in passing the #1 car.

Then Shim started to drive aggressively on the track and got my "little talk".


Everyone needs to understand that that kind of driving will end your day early at Apex. Shim and I have talked and we are fine and trust me we do not put up with people holding up traffic. It must be managed from the wall and not from inside your car.

Next date is July 28th. Where are all the EVOs at??
