Mini driver dies in HPDE accident.

I am often accused of being over the top with safety at Apex events. I am happy to do that job (maybe it is the way I deliver the safety "talks").

This is a tragic event. Please be careful.

MSR is a very safe track but things still can happen.

Repost. You always assume the risk at a track event.

I was being serious. Not sure why people who don't normally post in a sub-forum have to go out of their way to be the "Repost Police." I think that it is good that you shared the memory of this unfoprtunate individual again with those of us who didn't see the post earlier.

Yea, not a good weekend at Willow.

John- The way you deliver your safety talk is absolutely amazing. I think it drives home the concern quite well. Makes me feel safer knowing all the other drivers are aware of the danger.

I know that alot of us auto cross or drag race and so on. What ever you race on the weekends dose take risks. I think as driver we need to take in all of the saftey and planing that gose on the track and drag stripe. Take it into mind that anything or something might go bad. (Might) is the big word. As driver to another please be safe. We are all here to have fun with what ever car we may own. My heart and prayers go out to his family.
