goofy, that thing is sweet!
this was my first car, '87 944s. black with tan leather interior. 911 turbo twist wheels, in excellent shape.
then i wrecked it like 3 months after buying it. and then i got this:
'87 944 turbo. red, bought it in horrible shape, but it was very fast after i spent a dump trunk full of money fixing the damn thing. it was fun, don't get me wrong, but porsche = money pit.
i think my favorite car was this one. the day i towed it home from a friends house for free my dad said i had one weekend to finish it and get it out of the garage or else it was going to the junk yard:
2 days later and a hundred trips to the pick and pull:
from there i upgraded the front brake disks, added rear disk brakes instead of the drums, got new wheels, got matching leather seats, 2.5" exhaust.... it was an '84 rabbit GTI manual. SO much fun to drive, and SUPER easy to work on. i want another!

That is a super sweet first car! I only wished I had something like that.
Mine was a tired old 1981 Honda Civic Sedan. I don't have any pictures but it looked like this one only silver. It was a freebie hand-me-down my parents had bought new about 10 years before...
According to the magazines, the car did 0-60 in 15 seconds when new! By the time I got it I think it was around the 18 to 20 second mark but I forget. It was dangerously slow. I almost got run over trying to pull out into traffic.
Ahhh good times..

I dont have any pictures now... but My first car was a 1982 toyota 4X4 truck! I loved it, but god was it slow... then I got a 1990 eclipse 1.8 POS which I thought was super fast.... I promptly wrecked that..... I rode in my buddies 1991 Talon TSi... Fell in love instantly and bought my 91 TSi two weeks later.... :-)
