If you go out the main gate take 190 to Killeen and you will see it on the right. Petsmart is still there. Take the W. S. Young exit you will see a Wendys that will also be on your right.

Oh yeah forgot you just got in town gravyboy. It's on the other side of the highway from the mall. There is a Petsmart and a ToysRus in the lot. The SouthEast Corner of Hwy 190 and W.S. Young. Coming from Ft. Hood Main gate exit 190 at W.S. Young/ at the light turn Right/at the next light turn left into the Shopping lot and drive till the end, you should see all the cars out.

P.S. Next to Applebees on 190.

It was nice meeting everyone last night, hopefully I'll stay longer next time and bring my wife so she doesn't feel left out.

Frontskill, I'm gonna have to get with you on the boost gauge install and how you went through the firewall once I decide between Defi and Prosport.

CentexEvoX; I have a prosport sitting in my garage if you want to see it in person. Supposedly it uses the same stepper motor as the defi.

Also, do either you or Frontskill (or both) of you feel like coming by Nolanville on Sunday or Monday to assist in the FMIC install?

I'm in an airdefense unit...there's 2 on post right now 1/44 and 2/1.
Hopefully if you get 1/44 you won't be going anywhere soon, but if you're tagged with 2/1 they leave this nov09 time frame to korea

I think 1/44 is what i should be getting, actually. Haven't received cut orders yet, i refuse to go to korea anyway. Just a question, how sh!!!y is it in fort hood? And how is 1/44? 2/44 here in campbell is one thing, a black hole. Once you're in, it's hard to get out. lol

At least you won't be in the most deployed division in the army.

I love fort hood out of all the other bases i've been in. (which isn't saying much army wise)
Alot of things to do and if you're in the Car scene.... austin has it going on! It's always a challenge for us 4bangers to whoop up on some bottlefed v8s

I've been to a few - Fort sill - Fort Bliss - Fort Riley - And Fort Campbell. Fort Campbell is by far the hardest base I've been to, this place is nothing but PT nuts, everything has to be done perfect and you have to surpass everyone else in the army, that seems to be the only mentality out here. In my Battery, most of the E-6 and above ar Ranger, airborne, airassault, and pathfinder qualed, it's rediculous.

And yeah, I like pulling up to V8's, they never expect the 4dr car to do much either

Not to rain on the parade but it is my understanding that the Air Defense community is moving to Fort Sill in the future.

I have a Yellow Evo all blacked out in Hewitt, TX. Some of you may have seen my brother driving it around as I am currently stationed overseas. I'll be in town the 3rd week of April for some R&R and am down for a meet or just going down to the track...
