What's up fella's. Anyway I got a recruiting pitch last night from a group of guys starting a Car Club. He asked me to pass the message and I said I would so here it is.
The club is called TACT OUT. I spoke with the VP Jon Schroeder. He said the club originates in
Northern Cali and this would be a Killeen chapter. Well from what I remember, I'll give the major points.
I am not quoting, just paraphrasing to get the basic message across.
Jon said that the aim of the club is to have a place where like individuals can hang out together and be a positive element to the community.
More specifically volunteer work and community service, fund raisers(?) and such.
He said that the club would do a lot of competitions such as track and show and that they had a winning history in show events.
The club is open to all vehicle types.
There is a initial member fee of $60.00 that goes towards your club decal and club shirt. Then a monthly due of $10.00 that goes towards a fund that will be used to offset food, travel, and entry costs to competitions.
I was told you have to have the club decal on your vehicle, the usual placement is on the back window. The decal is very large.
TACT OUT is having a recruiting drive at Starlite Club parking lot Sunday May 30, 12 Noon. The Pres and VP will be there to answer questions.
Monkey_187 was gracious enough to post the VP's card. Incidentally the logo on the card is also the club decal.
As I said this is not a personal endorsement, merely a sharing of information because I said I would.
For my personal opinion please PM.
