You really dont need cam gears, timing is done with the tune not the gears. As for injectors it all depends if you plan on running e85 at all later on. I would go with the FIC 1050's, but if you plan on staying on pump 880's will do.

I just got off the phone with Michael at ETS, and were going to do the FIC 880's. Same deal you said, I dont have to worry about the cam gears, I wont need to fine tune it. I will upgrade that when I get a bigger cam and turbo. So at the end of the week, I will have the ETS LICP, FIC 880's, GSC S1's, AEM Wideband. Stll waiting on the word for my free Exedy twin disc. I am crossing fingers while I am sitting here on quarters with my kindney stone lol. Talk about pain lol.

Thanks man. I should have everything installed by this weekend. Then a week after that I will go and see Kevin for a retune. I just really hope to break 400 you know. I am not sure if it will happen. Now if I got bigger injectors, and E85 then yes I will hit my goal. Ill just have to wait and see. After this next tune, hopefully I will be able to run 11's.

If you are still on the stock VIII or IX turbo and pump gas 400whp is a bridge too far unless you get tuned on the razor's edge. With E85 the goal will be easily achieved as you already have the necessary parts for your build. If you do decide to run E85 on the stock VIII or IX turbo, injectors in the 880cc-1050cc range would be plenty for your power goals. And your goals of running 11s will be more than in your grasp. Good luck.

880's are not a good choice for e85, you will be pushing them things to the max.

Yeah, I dont think I will hit the 400 marker yet. Doing certain research, talking to a few people I thought I would be able to. Oh well, I will still have a quick Evo, and I guess thats what matters. I am just skeptical about running e85. I hear a few people ended up having rust in their tanks, then its a pain to get it and yada yada yada.

Get the GSC S2 the S1's are small cams, I wouldn't waste my money on those cams. If you decide to get a bigger turbo later you will need bigger cams. You should just get them now and avoid 2 installs. There a waste of money IMO.

I just dont have the time to wait to deal with the valve train. I was gong to go with the s2's and valve train, but it didnt happen. Having to pull the head, have the machine shop guys come to the shop to do the work and their convenience. Its all good, I wont be doing the turbo or another upgrade till I get back from my next deployment. My wife will be a computer technitian by then making great money lol.

What do you need the machine shop to do? Supertech dual valve springs titanium retainers, ARP head studs and your good.
