The fix is a better bov, hks bov is whack. It leaks like a sob , I'm very happy with my aps twin vent. It's a stock flanged bov ftw and help 40 psi on my last boost leak test.

I knew you'd like the APS dual-vent. I'm glad you're putting it to good use. For the 1G, either the HKS SSQ or Tial BOV is the standard. The prices for 1G parts is ridiculous as I just bought a HKS SSQ for $125 total.

Lighter spring can fix that. But keep in mind that flutter and turbo surge are two different things. I didnt have any surge on my car. But at WOT and you switch gears it didnt flutter. Every BOV I had aside from the stock, they all fluttered

And I have no issues with the HKS SSQV. No leaks, no PSI drop after the switch. I am recirculating it soon as my pipe comes in.

Just to put in my .02, I had to replace my HKS SSQV because the diaphram was jacked up inside. Mine would flutter pretty good, but act fine at WOT and high RPM shift. I disassembled it and it was all busted inside. I have another HKS SSQV that is VTA (my pipe has the HKS SSQV flange welded on) and it acting just fine. No issues to this point.

Have any of you guys thrown a P0234 code? Engine over boost. If so what did yall do to fix it? This is what I am experiencing right now. I thought it was misfire because in mid range 3rd and 4th gear it bucks and I hear a loud pop. I figured it would be the plugs. Now I just got this code and says it is engine over boost.

If you are recirculating now then thats your problem along with the colder air due to the weather. You had a Tial VTA BOV and now you have the HKS recirculating, so you would have to get re-tuned for this. If you are not recirculating it then reset the ECU and check for leaks in the IC pipes. The light should go off and if it comes back on try to see when it does, it sounds like you are hitting your boost limit table.
