That works for me. Either Saturday or Sunday will do as I don't have the "crud" anymore.

Cool Arrow - Welcome to the area.

Nissan 2 Evo - I can not personally drive you of town since my wife is on bedrest. I need to be close by or I would make that trip.

I can do something local though.

I only get 90 minutes. You can thank Uncle Sam for that. My car is fast but not that fast to make it back in time.

Ha! I'm on WFH and if the weather permits, I'm up for it. I don't eat much but the car talk will be worth it. I usually roll out to lunch around 1300 to stay out of traffic but I am pretty flexible. It doesn't matter where/what I eat. I'll PM you my contact information.

Good news. I'm looking at a possible meritorious promotion before I leave here which means more money for the car. If it's done correctly it will actually be effective on 1 August 2008, which means hella back pay for Base Pay, BAH, and COLA. So I'm pretty excited on this one.

As it looks right now my loss date is Mid January so I should be arriving beginning of February.

Can't wait to roll into town with my "Lancer with a Body Kit"! hahaha

From the pics I've seen so far everybody rolls fairly stock or stealth with their parts. Are the cops out there retarded on and off base regarding our kind of cars?

I want to make sure that when I roll onto the base I'm not going to get hassled. I used to live in an apartment complex all you heard were car sirens once I got done parking. I noticed that after a few days people just left their alarms off! haha

Anybody know anything about the 57th Sig? Apparently that's where I'm going.

Laxman, you stay safe over there and just know that the EVO community back home is alive and well. Hopefully these deployments will slow down enough to get more of us at home at the same time. That will be sweet to get together a lot more than what we currently do.

I personally don't know anything about 57th Signal as I'm just an 'ole MI guy. As far as the cops, on-post you are fine as long as you stay under the speed limit. Off-post is a different story as historically Killeen was/is notorious for street racing at certain times of the night (not that I know from experience...). The Import scene is steadily growing and the cops equate a large spoiler to a "street racer". I used to get stopped all the time and since I removed my spoiler, I haven't been bothered one time not even for "NOT" having my front license plate mounted. As far as the stock appearance is concerned, IMO I think some of that has to do with the OPTEMPO here at Hood and guys not really having the time to go all out (those that are interested) as well as the lack of your traditional car shows being within a reasonable distance. I can say this and that is EVOs are driven around here and you always have to be on your A-game...show car or not.
