Yup, I love the S2 cams. I had the S1 cams for the stock turbo and then upgraded to the S2s when I installed the turbo.

This is what your car would sound like with no exhaust at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWp5vAdRcwI

Are cams an investment for an EVO? Absolutely. We have to be careful by making blanket statements such as brand "x" cams are garbage without backing them up with sound results. I can personally vouch for the HKS cams as I had a set of 264s with my stock VIII turbo tuned on E85 that was a pretty exciting ride. Why 264s...? This was the set that gave me immediate grunt and based on their lift profiles, in my opinion, fit the stock VIII turbo perfectly. It will always be the intended use of the car and the supporting parts selected that determines what cam is the better choice. These days, there are brands of cams out there that are newer than the HKS variants such as: BF272, GSC S2, Kelford 272 that will more than likely satisfy the needs of 85-90% of EVO owners out there.
