yea i know, i was also thinking of going to him since my wifes fam is from dallas. But I got both pump/e85 tunes. Was quoted $500 by Kevin and was told $450 by JMS. Now I feel like i shouldn't have been lazy the last few weeks I was in Cali and just switched the cams and retune for $100.

I'm tossing the entire 8 setup to the curb - I mean the F/S forum, and replacing it with a MAP short runner manifold, Evo IX Turbo, and Toxicfab dump tube. Hopefully in the process since I will remove every damn piece of my exhaust I can fix this leak.
Immediately after this phase of the OP comes cams (TBD), a MAP Rev 2 Intake Manifold and 65 MILSPEC T/B, but this is projected maybe for October between NTC and JRTC.

I can't believe how much cheaper cams are for the Evo compared to the $1000+ I had to pay for RPW cams for my v6 eclipse. I guess that's the price you pay when there only exist one brand of aftermarket parts for your car

"Along with the shop, I do work full time as well and do my best to reply to everything promptly. The phone not being answered sometimes is due to not having ful time front office personnel, the mechanics or I when at the shop do our best to answer and if not, return every call that comes across. I call back every voicemail as well with contact information"
So I guess just keep trying.

So I partially stripped one of the studs on my new(er) IX turbo, took it to Garvin's Machine Shop and they patched up the thread of the hole it gummed up, and fixed all the other little issues with the remaining studs. Great guys IMO, allowed me to do my mock up for this weekend's swap - Mini Album
