remember when reving that high you're going to need a dry sump, oil cooler, MAJOR head work, HUGE cams,Big turbo to keep up LOL, so much stuff
OT
Im a huge dsm/sti junkie
I hate the usdm sti's because they come with a badass 6speed that was meant for 2.0
gears are short ...which means you need more rpm to compliment the tranny
The 2.5L redlines to 7k and with proper tuning and Money you can get a safe and strong 8k
the jdm 2.0 revs hits 8k, but i've seen them twist to 9500 and it's a FLAT FOUR
I love RPMs! the more the better. U can slap on any turbo and make use of it!
3076 has been proven on and off the track ie. road coarse, drag, etc
I have 5k rpms of full boost! ya know how much fun that is to drive?

thats pretty safe to say pistons and rods and all the bearings for a building the bottom end aka Short block.
To be honest though why don't you just save up a lil more and do it right!(i'm just ranting)
People don't think but the crank I'd say is the most important thing to mod!
Micropolish
KnifeEdge
Crossdrilled
Cryo treat it
Chemical treat it
by a new billet one!
ANyways just think what it'll be like to rev to 10,000 RPMS!
Then build from there!
Remember to also hone your block and get it balanced and blueprinted!

well every dyno is different no matter what right?
for instance
Turbochargers Mustang dyno read 5% lower than a Protech's Dynjet
but MZM is 20% lower than protech's and it's also a mustang
Peak boost and tapered boost at 30psi?
Myself i run the 3076 I peak boost at ...actually heres a picture of 2 cars running the 3076 both are MAXING out the turbo btw
difference is one traps 127 and the other 131

his boost tapers at 28 and mine is 26, but i make more power and hold it!
reason? i have heads so they flow harder and faster
I don't exactly know what I'm trying to say but here it is
Forget about Numbers ... The measurement of HP on a dyno is worthless without TRAP SPEED
what is 500 hp? take any 500 hp Dynjet car out there they won't trap a 130 maybe a mid 120ish
E85 ..is by far the best thing that came to the autoindustry this decade!
105+ oct for under 2bucks ! saweetness
so if you want to run a high 10...yes a 3076 can do it! but thats with EVERYTHING done to ur car basically lol
FUELING! my kryptonite!
there was so many times where I've encountered this problem...not enough FUEL
a single walbro will not just suffice for my taste. I've only seen or read a couple of walbro crapping out....and I will not be that one=)
Check it walbro255 is not a true 255lph. If you do some research they are like turbos...they peak it but it doesn't hold and also not every walbro is the same...poor QC
I'll pm you my fuel setup
longstory short MONEY PIT! everytime you upgrade you'll find something else that needs money too! Bigger turbo, bigger cams, bigger fuelsystem...to much boost the sparks not keep up...need better ignition...to much power axles snapping ... better drivetrain, clutch dying can't hold the power...upgrading twindisk.. blah blah hehe

You fellahs are killing me softly all the way here in Kuwait with all of this stuff. I have so much more research to do and it really doesn't seem that a project will ever be done. Dang! So, with long-term investment as the theme, the HTA35r seems to be the route for me. What about the HTA3076 as I totally understand what you are saying about trap speeds? Joe, chime in as you see fit as you and a couple of the fellahs on here know how I can be at times.
