Breaking or not breaking stuff is not a bad thing. I told you Im not afraid of getting things broken on my car. It give me a reason to upgrade that part and lear more about the car. I baugh my EVO to enjoy it not let it sit in the garage and collect dust. I would of baught a BMW or Mercedes if thats what I wanted, the cobra and the gt is a different story though.

Well guys soceur77 and I have finished putting his cams in, we had some problems but we got them in. First start up wasnt a good one but after we (I did most of the work) figured out the problem and retimed it, the car was running and sound good. Now all he needs is a good tune and his car will be even better. I never knew how easy it was to install them, I will never pay to have cams installed ever again. I could of saved so much money!
Really you finally finished, nice job. I wish I could of came over but I was so damn hungover...and I don't have a ride.

Joe, chime in as you see fit as you and a couple of the fellahs on here know how I can be at times.
The HTA35r spools up quicker than the gt35, but it is a lot more. I just read about this one guy who installed the 850r on a stock motor and head. The 4g63 is one strong little engine, it's amazing how much you can do on the stock engine. I also read about a few cars that are on the stock turbo running 11s. I'm running 25psi on my stock turbo, but once I'm going over 80 it seems to fall flat on it's face. I can't wait to get back to upgrade!

Yup. It's a hard choice for us EVO fellahs. I'm torn in between the HTA3076 and the HTA35r which cost the same on the ETS website. And then there's the PT6262 that falls just between them both. That PT6262 with the 0.63 turbine housing sounds pretty nice and with the miltary discount from ETS with all of the trimmings, it comes out to just shy of $3,500.

The HTA35 with all the trimmings would be just shy of $3,700 with the miltary discount going by the ETS website prices. Nothing is set in concrete as I'm only doing general totals.

AMS gives a 10% discount to military also, have you thought about them? I was thinking about getting the HTA30, but I figured since I'm going to have a built block I should go much bigger.

I simply chose the highest available choice for each option along with the Injen couplers and subtracted 10%.
