I never got rid of them and the reason why I got Rotas is cause I dont feel like spending over $2k on rims anymore. I would rather put that money where it counts, on the engine. I really dont care if I get made fun of about having Rotas. There nice, they get the job done, and best of all I still have money in my pocket.

EVO X Front Differential? WTF!!!

Alright, back in the game, mitsubishi gave me a new trans, they're sending the old unit back to japan for inspection. They asked a series of questions which I thought was pretty funny, like, was the car ever entered into a drift competition? They're very difficult to deal with, especially when there is a conflict of interest with me working at the dealer. Mitsu is obviously not as giving such as subaru or nissan when it comes to warranty, and they need to, they have a great product, but they seriously need work on factory backing.

Question for the X owners:

I just did my first oil change on my X, do we have to reset the service counter on the menu screen. The one that says the miles and months?

Yes, just push and hold the button, like you would when resetting the trip counter, mph/mpg display, etc. Otherwise suffer the wrath of the ding ding ding "Service Engine" display when starting up your car.

BTW, I'm driving the RA, but it's the same concept.

That's the one, beautiful car man!

I haven't been to a meet in a while, I have been to a couple of the Subie meets over at Autozone.

What's up with doing an Evo meet? Anything going on this weekend? I'd like to bring the RA out and meet up with some of the local Evo guys. Last I heard it had sorta fallen off with a lot of local guys down range right now.

How about labor day weekend?
End of summer, last big hurrah kind of thing, maybe even find a new meeting place, guys could show up with ideas.
It could be something short and quick since I know family time can be at a premium sometimes.
It could even be during the day at a public place, you know sort of like a mini show and shine!
