New Braunfels is 160 miles to the west of Houston. Depending on how fast you drive, you can figure the math.
Now you can either go 290 to Austin then go south on 35, or go highway 10 to San Antonio then go north on 35. I guess just compare each route to figure out which one you want to drive (one might be shorter than the other).
Hope you can make it with all your friends.

May Bump! 2 more months! Clear your schedules!
EvoXTX,
Yes, we are camping so you will need anything and everything to get you by from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. That means, beer, food, water, coolers, ice, grill, charcoal, snacks, tent, air mattress, flash lights, etc. etc. etc. I will post a list tomorrow.
Basically the question comes back to you:
What exactly will you need to camp for 3 days?
Remember, your responsible for yourself, don't think someone else will bring it and you can borrow or use it. I don't mean to sound like an a** but we have had some problems in the past about people not bringing things and mooching off other people.
I normally buy enough beer to last all weekend cause its a real pain in the a** to keep leaving the camp site to go get some at the store. That also goes for cigarettes. (if you smoke)
