It was a good day of Evo activity. Thanks much to Don for treating our group of 30+ to lunch. He also took the time to tour many of us for several hours through the Show.
And for those who were able to stick with us through the mass of traffic as we exited the convention center, there was the additional benefit of getting to experience some of the personality of two Industrial Blvd fine-dinin' establishments. The tacos looked good, but the cold kept us from enjoying them outside the truck stop convenience store with the longhorn cattle. Instead, we continued another block down the boulevard to a small, friendly barbeque place, that was very happy to see us and put together what seemed like half their tables to support our gathering of around 12 folks. It was fun to talk Evos for awhile longer before everyone headed home for the evening.
Thanks again Don Herring Mitsubishi for everyone's tickets and lunch.

p.s. I almost forgot to mention the two ladies in short-shorts "taking orders" at the drive-through liquor store across the street from the BBQ place.

It was great fun to get to meet all the EVO fans. I need to come to more these gatherings.
Also big thank you to Don for treating us lunch and taking the entourage to the show.
What an exciting drive down to the Dallas convention.

Thanks again to Don for hosting this event and for taking us around the show. His wealth of knowledge in the car business makes the show a whole new experience!! We are very fortunate to have such a great sponsor like Don Herring Mitsubishi!

Time will tell, but IMO, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe > new Camaro.
Edit: Thanks for the passes as well and MrMTB for the special hand delivery too! We were there a few hours and had a great time flipping the Ford virtual truck and almost flipping a real Toyota out front
