Cobb Tuning stage 2 at Don Herring

We put the Stage 2 Cobb car on the dyno last week and got some really good numbers. It was putting 295 AWHP and 311 ft/lbs of torque. What was even better was these numbers were achieved fairly quickly after passing 3000 RPM's and the torque band was fairly flat to redline. This is an amazing car and a lot of power for the money.

Here's a nice shot of Don's Evo X after we put a custom Stage 2 tune on her. It's amazing how torquey this car is!

I'll post the dyno graph shortly.

Mike and I went for a spin in this yesterday - it was very impressive for such a conservatively modded vehicle.

So does this mean AP tunes = warranty?

So long as the tune or something you modded on the car does not cause the failure for which you are looking for warranty service, yes, the tune does not void your warranty.

It has an intake, intercooler pipes, high-flow cat, and downpipe. From what I could tell, the remainder was stock. If I weren't hell-bent on keeping my car stock, I'd consider a package like that.

Here is the dyno chart for the car. mrMTB is correct on the mods, it also has a silicone turbo inlet pipe.

We should release the Stage 2 maps very soon, Tim has been working diligently on them.

This car had less than 100 miles on it when we started tuning, so the motor definitely needs to be broken in. The data also shows that this car actually had 91 octane in the tank. We have tuned several broken in GSR's with this combination + cat-back that have averaged 340-350 AWHP, so that is what I would expect.

Is there going to be a Stage 2.5 or Stage 3 in the works? I'd be looking for one for Intake/Test Pipe/Catback/Bigger FMIC/Intercooler Piping.

Also can the AP tune for cams yet?
