Works better for EVERYONE. But then again, we're not in an apartment and we don't do donuts in the street.
..... and we never do donuts in a 240 we "drift" or "drag" them.

i will have to say the neighbor and cop did what they should have done... the ride to the jail is just disturbing... i do not mean to bash LEO's but experience/observation can speak volumes... I am sure there are those (so i take back that "all" are bad) LEO's who go by the book, who are car enthusiasts, visit and contribute to this forum/community, and are excellent at doing their job - i have nothing against them at all - i appreciate them!... but it is disturbing to see those who think/act they are above the law... is it too much to ask when we pay their salaries???... anyhow... /endrant

yeah honestly man..you shouldn't have admitted it. its heresay.

You could have simply said that you and ur neighbor have been going at it, and he was just trying to get me in trouble. no way the cop could prove it.

I had this happen one time, lady cut me off on my bike and almost made me go down. i cme up next to her car on the highway and knock her side mirror clear off..she calls the cops on me. next day i have a cop come to the casa, he tells me all about this. i say prove it, he says he is still issuing a ticket and so i said see u in court.

I took it to court, stated that the lady cut me off and all i did was flick her off, she just said i hit her mirror to get me to replace it. Then i said it could have been from an accident that she had gotten in and wants to try and pin it on me. No one could prove it, so it got thrown out and i paid a 10 dollar court fee. End of case.

Man I'd have something to say to those neighbors of your friends. As soon as I got out of jail I'd definatley give them a piece of my mind.
nothing dangerous or violent or illegal mind you
just say mean things i suppose

im not really mad at the cops I guess...just the neighbor...guys down the street (dad and son) build bikes and the cops come to see them at least once a month for making too much noise. My prob with not being able to deny it is the tire marks that are "fresh" according to the cops. Cant really hide them...at least they didnt see my evo parked in his garage even tho none of us condone street racing!

I have court next week and my friend put down a 500$ bond so that will go towards to court fees which im guessing will be about 300-400$...Im gonna try to get it lowered from wreckless driving to something else.
HPD dont bother me or my friends when were out thier usually too busy looking for honda civics to get off the street....these a-holes were cypress constables and most def have little man syndrom.

also, in the regards to the tiremarks..how do they know you drove the car? They didn't actually see u do it, thats the whole thing. Im sure if they looked at that mirror i hit they'de see blue from my gloves and would know it was my gloves, but they wont. Same issue, they didn't see u do it, and thats the mindset u need to have. it could have been anyone in taht neighborhood, they could have ran off. Hell it could even be the guy that called the cops trying to frame u!

See what i mean? keep that mindset and they wont have **** on u.

by the way, the best thing of getting out of it, is afterwards you can go and say "hey lady, sucks what i did to ur mirror." Due to Double jeapordy clause, you can't be tried for the exact same crime twice after either getting aquitted or not guilty..one in the same. u get the point. legal system can be great sometimes..ask OJ

I dont get why you were doing donuts in front of your friends house....

I'm not trying to be a hyprocrite, I dont follow a few laws here and there either... But its always time and place...

Getting arrested is a bit much, thats definitely over doing it, but i cant blame them for writing you a ticket. What I dont get is how they were even able to do it though, I know in Florida the cop has to actually see you do it. What keeps you from calling the cops and saying your your friends neighbor was doing a burn out....

Hope you get it taken care of, just use a little more smarts next time. Do and ditch!

Cheers!

You must like picking on old ladies. If you did that kind of **** to me you'd quickly find yourself eating pavement with a mangled cycle. A good chance to test that new helmet first hand!

Picking on old ladies? Did I miss something in the story that said something about "old" ladies? Also old or young the lady who did it put his life in danger by cutting him off so I would say I probably would have done the same thing.

You should probably go somehwhere else and bully people around on the internet.
