I had Abel install a clutch on my Evo in 2004. It was their first Evo ever and it was a nightmare, but they got better at installs over time. They are pretty cool guys, but not the most dependable. I have some friends that used them for Evo builds and were very happy with it. I am not sure if they bleed the ACD or ABS when they install a clutch.

Spotted an Evo VIII or IX on Country Club road in Stillwater in the afternoon on the 12th -- I can't remember if it was white or black -- sue me, I was fried from being at the track all weekend in 105+ degree heat.

I gave a wave and you waved back.

There's a lot of good twisties over in Arkansas -- but you knew that .

Hallett is just west of Tulsa (fun track, hard on brakes).

There the NEOklahoma SCCA group that does autocrosses and there's an OKC SCCA group that does them as well.

My inlaws live in Stillwater (an hour west of Tulsa, so I'm up there every couple months.

How often do they have track days, and how much is it to run? Do you know when the next scca event in the area will be? Hallett also has a racing school dont they?

hallett has open track at least once a month for the COMMA series. A ton of groups run out there, so there's always space. There's a Z club event coming up you could get in on. Contact Connie out there.

lol its all good, i was just in a hurry when i was on earlier, my bad for gettin rude. But I did go on their site and found out how to get it all goin, 35 bucks a year and 95 bucks for the event, and something like 3 15 minute runs. You have any tips or advice for the track?

Props to the "teach a man to fish" quote by the way!
