I got mine from Lawson Mitsubishi...actually taking it in on Weds to have that recall work done on it (leak through the firewall). Also going to have them check out the roters...think I have a warped one. I have been so busy I havent been out much cruising around looking for trouble

I will check out that site Fred, but I also checked out your teamfurtymotorsports.com site as well. I think RJ has a second job at the bank I work at...I will ask him if he is the same guy because he is a manager out at Carmike.

Thanks for visiting my site, I'm attempting to redesign it. Learning photoshop and additional HTML to make it more professional.
You had your Panasonic put in at Phoenix Audio, right?

RJ has the dark civic. He lets Team Solo park out there on the weekends. There is a guy that works for Sprint on Cache and Sheridan that has been itching to have a shot at me (Team Solo ring leader). Instead I ended up running a red SRT-4 , missed my 1-2 shift and lost... (not by much). These guys are extremely nice (and organized).

You ever have any problems with shifting? Did you have any improvement when you added your grouding kit?

Idle and 1st Gear engagement seemed to be a lot smoother after the grounding kit. Pretty much everything under 1700 rpm was smoothed out. I am looking at putting in some Redline in the tranny, diff, and transfer case soon...Just need to find a pump or hoses to do it. Never chained the driveline fluids before but I dont really want to spend a huge wad to have someone else do it.

Yea Mobile Phonix installed my deck. Very sweet head on it...matches the interior nice but not the red color instrumentation. I wish I could find a way to change the red to blue

Poor bastard. States like this don't do well with the Evo. Most people around here prefer Camaro, Mustang and full size pick-ups... like the Ford F-350000000000000000000000000 & 1/2. With 180000 inch super swampers and 300 ft lift kits and a Cummins 14.6 liter turbo diesel. They like to where big cowboy hats and pretend the are still in the old west.
I'm not from around here, so it's easy to make these observations.
I hear ya man. So many trucks around here. I hate it when 2 trucks(or bigger hunks of metal than my own.) park next to my lancer, makes it hell getting out.

Being from Florida, I was amazed at the shear volume of HD type pickups around here. Some of them are actually used for work and the rest are posers. Traveled to Colorado Springs the other week and didn't see near the amount of pickups.

I was stationed at Fort Sill until August. I still go down there for some classes I take at Fort Sill.

hehe yea. There is a lot of agriculture going on for sure, especially where I live. I actually live out in the sticks east of Lawton so all I see going home are HD Trucks

My Dad has a Ford 350 I think...the thing is massive, but its a great work truck

EvoG8r, give me a ring if you are in town...PM me if you dont have my number...I would still like to see that intake and how it sounds.

What I hate is when pickup trucks tail me when I drive. I'm like, relax man, I know my Lancer is slow...geeesh! Especially those Dodge Rams, today I was driving back from OKC, and this Dodge Ram was on my ***, I'm like...what are you trying to prove?

As a Floridian this cowboy culture causes me great distress. I hope I'm not offending you all by saying this. OK is too blue collar for me.

I hear you. I'm from Florida too... I think I'm lucky I don't have it as bad as it is in OK though. But mustangs, huge trucks and huge SUVs are a problem here...

^ I'm nto sure about Austin, but up where I live there are SO MANY mustangs it's just sickening. :\

In Lawton there seems to be a fair amount of tuned imports...but mostly just hondas with fartcans.

I have owned a 2000 Mustang GT 5spd. I enjoyed driving the car, but it's no fun when everyone else has the same thing. The other thing about the stang was bringing it in for small problems to the dealer every month.

The Evo has been great except for the drivers side carpet anchor which will be replaced next week.

So you're from FLA, what part? How long have you been in this part of the country?
