The S0-3 is a good tire, albeit a bit expensive.

I doubt you would be giving that much up performance wise. I am sure it would be quieter, and yield a better tread life. Not to mention the improved wet traction.

I often wonder when I run outta tire life what I will do. I'm only @ 3k, and they look brand new still, so I probably wont have to worry until about this time next year.

The potenza is a great tire...I would recommend it.

I went with a cheaper route. Got some PNero Zero M&S. Tires are just now getting broken in. Improves the rough ride a lot...but also reduces cornering ability. Seems like a high quality tire and is good in rain. You DO get what you pay for though...so compare a $220 tire (Advan) to the $127 tire (PNero) and make an estimate of performance loss.

Overall I am happy with the tire...ride is great, but not "super rediculous awesome" like the advans

 

At 3k my tires looked pretty good too. =)

Now should I waste money on another set of advans...

 

Alright, I'm taking the cheap route. I'm buying 2 used advans since I have 1 new one on my Evo anyway. All I need to find is one more used one and I'll change them out. I should be able to get at least another 6-9 months out of them. I'll be able to buy myself some time until I can figure out what tires are the best.

They say it will handle 1000 hp. That motor is 315hp on a stock 19psi turbo.
