moving to austin soon
Hey i should be moving to austin by the end of this month and was wondering where the car people hang out at on the weekends or of they do at all.Also i need to know if there is a place that sells methanol in austin,preferably vp M1

It's mostly all rice now, not sure of any legit meeting spots. Cops have spots they sit and wait weekend nights along 183 where the normal spots are to race and chase people down, it's ridiculous up N/NW.
There is only one shop in Austin that sells methanol and it isn't VP M1, I think San Antonio is the closest place to pick that brand up. As for where to get methanol the place that sells it is a hard core race shop, Austin Performance off N. Lamar/Rundberg area.

There is a link. Their phone is ALWAYS busy so it's hard to get them by phone but they carry race gas, methanol, all that stuff. Good bunch of guys that think the government is out to abolish racing but they're fun to talk to

I'm swapping to e-85 so selling my last 5 gallons of meth for 3 bucks a gallon plus 5 bucks for the container if you want it. I also have a ton of the methanol lubricant additive to keep it from damaging valve seals etc.
