I rolled up on a 3 way between a silver evo8/9, evo x, and a 350z after the night meet on Friday. Not sure who ended up ahead, but it looked close. Cars seemed close to stock, speed wise.
The was a silver evo at the track that made like 15 passes consistently @ 122+ traps. It was definitely impressive to watch that kind of repeatability and reliability out of these cars . Turbo looked stock-ish, but could have been a fp-x.
The weather has been awesome here all weekend. This was a good year to come to the event for those out of town.

LOL!! Thats funny cause I think It was me that time and my 8 is white with a nine front bumper, unless there was another X and 350 runnin a 8/9 Evo that night.
close?! i beat that azz. lol jk. i had a ton of fun the second night but had to cut it short as i was blowing out exhaust gaskets and got tired of replacing them.
itznoraa, dude i was so glad that it didnt hit your car. good grief, way to make an impression right. im just glad everyone was as cool as they were. rudy and i were talkin about how some evo owners are stuck up and when i rolled up to the gas station when we all first met every one of you guys were awesome about letting me roll in with ya.
so in short, Houston evo crowd is second to none. you guys kicked *** and we had mad fun at ihop afterwards (sinks head into ihop table saying "man this some bull$hit" while waiting on food)
tx2k11 was definitely something to love and will definitely be on my list of things to do every year from now on! hopefully next year ill bring more with me.

TX2K11 was excellent all around. We had a great time on and off the track. Finally shaking the 9 second monkey off the machine's back was a great accomplishment....then finishing third in a very stout street class full of camaros...vipers...vettes..trans ams. Can't wait for next year.
[QUOTE=Bramage_Dained;9173701]That was a nice run. Too bad about the red light in the semi.
<---Was the guy with the "Vote for Pedro" shirt on today at the track.[/QUOTE
Whatsup bro...i remember seeing you by the car.

It was cool hanging out with you as well Tom and thanks for the props. Took some time to get into the 9's with that Evo..Joaquin couldn't have chosen a better time to pilot it good enough than on Sunday.
Thanks again.
