Driver's Edge at TWS 3/6, 3/7

One of the first people I met at the Friday night novice meeting was Mitch. He was a car collector that decided to bring out his restored '71 Trans Am for some fun.
He also said that he had a restored '64 Chevelle convertible with a 450 (IIRC) that he was going to auction off at Barrett Jackson soon. It's one of only 18 made and the last one auctioned went for like $175k!

My neighbors in the pits. A Ferrari 550, I think the driver's name was John. A nice guy. The Boxster behind it was his wife's car (I think she was his wife), and IIRC her name was Sue. Man, my memory must be going.
My other neighbor, Simon, had a 911. He was a nice guy too. Lots of nice folks out there actually.
And last, but not least, some joker in an STi in front of me. That's Treefallen pretending he knows how to use a torque wrench.
Those rims look awfully familiar... hmmmmmmm.

Me pretending I know how to use a portable air compressor. My car is dirty (look at the side skirt).
No, really, my car is filthy! I used this to pass some advice to my fellow novices.
And I guess imitation is the best form of flattery?

I'll be there hopefully in 2 years... :P I live in Dallas right now. My boyfriend lives in College Station.
I'll be driving down there this Thurs and staying for a long while (ok, a week or so but hey!)

I highly recommend TWS Motosports Club events! I've been doing them exclusively. You get 5 sessions per day, and they're cheaper. You also don't have to pay extra for garage. Feel free to put my name (Andrew Ng) down as your referral if you sign up. There is an unscheduled event this 4/10-11, most likely I'll be there!
