Moving to Houston... any tuners?

Hey,

Well, will be moving to Houston in about a year starting my Cards fellowship at Texas Heart and was wondering if anyone could recommend any tuner shops... any friendly enthusiasts as well.

Agreed. Autologic is tops. I won't let anyone else touch my cars (300hp Miata and 3rd gen RX-7). Brad and Jason are perfectionists and 100% honest.

Located by 59 and 610, south of the Gallaria. From Hwy 59, exit Hillcroft and go north. Turn left on Star. It's on the left nesr the Mercedes shop.

I like their disclaimer on the tuning sessions. If your car has poor suspension/brakes, they won't even touch it. If it gets on the dyno and runs like crap, they will charge you anyway.

For me, the best place is SGP. They are one of two shops in Houston that have an AWD dyno, and they are going next week to SEMA, and AEM to get certified as AEM tuners. They have also worked with SAFC1 or 2, UTEC, and MOTEC. There might be others, but I have only had those at any given time.
