Yeah it's my rolling billboard. Gotta pay for the upgrades somehow.
I hit 3200 miles today, so I had the oil changed and new tires put on. The stock Yokos were totally, completely slick...awesome in the dry, terrifying in the wet. I just put on some 245/40/17 Yoko ES100s.
I've also got the next round of upgrades on the way...should be here tomorrow. Complete exhaust...headers, O2 pipe, down pipe, cat delete, cat-back. Also some little stuff like metal shift bushings, turbo timer, oil blow-by catch can, and Escort X50 radar detector.

Cool, I should be around...may be working, but I'll be around.
We need to tighten things up between our 2 camps...we have a lot more in common with the Scooby drivers than some seem to realize. Most are pretty cool, but I've waved to a few groups while driving the Evo, and they don't want to wave back.
I'm planning a sports car rally at the Gap this winter. There's no reason there shouldn't be more sports car groups doing their thing during the winter, it hardly ever snows around here, and the roads are wide open for us to play on. And GOD knows these turbos love the dense, cold air.

Ok this is kinda funny once I thought about it, so I had to share.
This is the first car I've really been able to "tune". My previous car (neon) was not something that I wanted to sink any real money into, and before that I just didn't have the money to be doing stuff like this.
As mentioned I hit 3000 miles at 3 weeks of ownership, and had to change the oil and tires.
It's going on 5 weeks old, and so far I have:
Installed: JIC Coilovers, Hawk HP+ pads, Goodridge SS brake lines, Motul Brake Fluid.
Ordered and recieved (yet to be installed): MR Headers, Helix O2 housing, LPI 3" Downpipe, Helix Cat-Delete, Logic Performance 3" Cat-Back exhaust, Greddy Auto Turbo Timer, Logic polished aluminum oil catch can, Metal shifter cage bushings and underhood metal shift bushings, aluminum 4-pc pedal set, brushed aluminum antenna.
Ordered and yet to recieve: GSC Cams (272in/264ex), Fidanza Adj. Cam Gears, Turbo XS UTEC, and DTEC, FIC 650cc Fuel Injectors, Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump, AMS Fuel Rail, HKS Racing Suction Intake.
Scheduled for custom Dynoflash tune in Atlanta on September 10.
It should be noted that I have yet to make the first payment on this car.

Wow, you remind me of a buddy that bought an MR. Within weeks he had more mods then me after owning the car for 2 years.
EDIT - Me and another Okie will be hitting up the Dragon in about a month. Hope to see you.
