Should I junk a Porsche 944?
I have an 1987 Porshce 944 S (non-turbo). It needs a replacement 4 cylinder engine. I just need to get the car running. Does anyone here know where I can find a replacement motor? If not, the car might get junked....

Find a chevy 350 or ls1 and throw it in there! I've got a friend in Houston in the same situation as you. Did the tensioner fail and let the pistons hit the valves?
Anyway, he's looking to go the small-block route, as blasphemous as that sounds.
