Call Doug at Topspeed. He's one of the best tuners in the country. They are in Alpharetta, GA.

www.dyno4mance.com

Andrew is the ONLY shop in georgia I trust to touch my car.

Tell him mad_vii told you to give him a call, or send me a pm if you want.

I just bought an MR as my track car and I am hearing some not-so-good things about TopSpeed these days.

Again, I am just stating what I have heard. They may be great!

Too bad Dyno4mance in all the way near Dalton! Damn!

I just sent my car to Buschur for a few things and I am very happy with the car.

Its worth the drive, I live about five miles from topspeed and regularly make the drive to dyno4mance (about 70 miles for me).

Dyno4mance is the best shop I've ever dealt with. No offence to the others, but I've been to the rest.... Go to Andrew and experience the best

If I trailer my Evo to Andrew at Dyno4mance (7hours each way), I say he is the best...............hence the long ride for me!! 2X. I live in Indy, and the drive for you might be worth it!!

topspeed definately. Doug works on alota High HP cars. Tunes 500-900hp cars on a regular basis. Hes also makes trips to the track checking out how well his cars are running. I dont know andrew at the other place, but i dont see many of his cars out at the tracks and i dont know how many 600+ whp he tunes on a regular basis. Last time i was at Topspeed, doug told me my 680whp was "weak sauce", like that was boaring, nothing special, the norm, the usual. Doug also has experience tuning and racing other types of cars. I just like a guy who has that kind of history.
Ill tell you this one story of why i have never gone to andrew (please, im not putting down the guy its just my opinion). I called him once about tuning my car. I mentioned using nitrous. Andrew said he didnt believe in nitrous. It is my policy that no tuner will ever touch my car that dosent "believe" in nitrous. My theory is this....If they dont "believe" in nitrous its because they have never used it, if they have never used it its because they havent been around drag racing long enough to have ever tried it, hence they are afraid of it. If they havent been around drag racing, drag strips and fast cars long enough to have ever used nitrous then they aint qualified to tune my car.

Topspeed is nitrous friendly.

Ill also bet topspeed turns out more hhp cars than andrew. Hotrods just by nature have more problems and bugs to be worked out than a shop thats just doing basic flashes on stock turbo'ed cars.

Well, when Boost Solutions and George screwed up my car all to hell, Doug was concerned and friendly and offered to tune my car and get the problems resolved. In all fairness, Doug who was working with Boost Solutions at the time tried very hard. I drove all over hell and half of georgia while Doug pounded away at the keyboard tuning my AEM EMS controlled car. He did all this at no extra charge. He was generous with his time after George hung me out to dry... Anyway, Doug managed to get about 255~ whp out of it. George before him managed to get 259 whp at 23 p.s.i. out of my car. It's a long story but in the end, Andrew and Barry tuned my car and got 298 whp at 19 p.s.i.
Anyway, I'm not blaming Doug for any of the problems that my car got as a result of Busted Solutions screwing with it. I'm just trying to set the record straight. Andrew tunes very high horspower cars. His DD dyno reads much lower than a Dynojet like the one used at TopSpeed. You cannot go around intimating that Andrew at Dyno4mance is a reflasher and his cars make no power. That is simply a falsehood. You go where you want and tell your friends to go wherever you want. But no not for one minute diminish the knowledge and quality of work at Dyno4mance. I've seen enough cars and tuners come and go. Andrew and Dyno4mance with the help of Seth and Vishnu finally got my car sorted out after pulling out thousands of dollars in innefective mods out of the car. As far as I'm concerned, Andrew rules as a tuner and definitely as a person. He helped me with my car above and beyond any fees and payments. He helped tremendously and gave me all kinds of breaks in his labor cost. I only take my cars to Dyno4mance. I don't mind the 70 mile each way because I trust him and he's never disappointed me.

Im not saying dynoformance isnt good. Ill use this example. At the last import showdown (the largest GA import race) at silverdollar raceway, there were several tuners there with their cars. A topspeed car won every class. Even 2n place cars were mostly topspeed cars. That says something about a shop. I just perfer a tuner that knows about the track as much as he knows about putting a number on a dyno. If your a racer you know, that dyno dont mean **** if the cars not fast at the track (keep in mind to that dyno numbers can be made to read higher or lower just by clicking a few calibrations). I think Doug has the experience to make both happen. I guess it depends on what the customer is lookin for. You just want a tune and a dyno number, go to either guy, it dosent really matter. But if you want to smoke off the competition at a dragstrip, go to topspeed. They simply have more experience in that area of speed.

If you want to smoke the competition you gotta have more than a good tuner. Drivers win races, not cars

didnt i mention, doug gives free driving lessons when you make over 600whp

However, for the ultimate learning experience, Treys girlfriend can show you how to launch the freakin wheels off an evo. All the while cutting .005 lights.

Shes a bad ace driver.

Just all part of the people you meet and the experience you get from topspeed.
