Just thought I would say hi to everyone in the south east

It was never my intention to make this car a "drag strip car", or an "autocross car", or even a "carpet queen". This car is a JDM style "Street Warrior".

Congrats to both of you. So nice that every one here in the forum bought the Evo. As I got my Black Evo since monday, I've been enjoying every single thing of it. Just finished breaking it in today bout 650 miles and I'm ready to add modification to it. My first mod will be the greddy turbo timer and a greddy BOV Bought the parts today and I'm ready to install it tomorrow. It will be a busy day for me and my Evo tomorrow. Keep enjoying your Evo, guys.

But.... I was pretty well maxed out on mods, and I had 21,000 miles on it and I was offered great $ for what it and the time was rite. I had the itch for a new project. I love the STi but I did not feel like getting bent over the hood and ram rodded by the dealer, plus then wait for a few months to get my car. I had an opportunity to get an evo at sticker, and it would be in either today or tomorrow, so I jumped on it.
But one thing....you will never hear me bash subaru!!! I love the cars, and I always will!

First Mods:
HKS Turbo Timer. Went in easily and it works great. I could not find a place it would look good, so I mounted it up under the dash on one of the metal plates that hold the plastic interior peices in place. I set it to 1:30 and put the dash back together. I'm glad I put it there, because I didnt think it would look good anywhere else.
I just got my autometer cobalt boost gauge in and the little pod for putting it on the colum (I really dont want to put it there, but I cant find anywhere else). I will put that in either tonight or tomorrow. I will let you all know how that goes.
I ordered my HKS intake (the full one w/ tube and all). It is the one VIVID is selling for like $450 or something close to there. I didnt get it from them though. I got it for $374.99. If any of you want to get this intake pm me and I'll tell you where I got it from and who to talk to.
Turbo XS just sent me a blow off valve (since I was sponsored by them in my WRX) and they told me how to adjust it so you dont have to worry about the car running rich at idle and bogging out. I'll put that on this week
I am getting ready to order either today or tomorrow a set of 18" wheels I am trying to decide which ones I am going to go with. But I will definantly order this week!
Tom
UPDATE:
Turbo XS RFL-BOV went in easily and works great!!! No problems w/ running rich at idle (you just have to make sure you put in all of the washers to put more tension on the spring).
Over all I am extreamly happy!! It sounds great and looks cool as heck!

great looking wrx, i had a bugeye also before the evo. I was pushing around 300whp on a vf22 with the wrx before the tranny blew. IMO the evo if funner to drive stock than my vf22 wrx.
