Moving to Asheville, NC
Jonesin" for some twisties!
I could use some info on exhaust laws, local tracks, clubs, etc.
Tired of the "go straight turn right, go straight turn left" roads here in So. FL.
That, and Moms' is gettin up there in years and could use some help.

For autocross in Asheville, check out www.highlandssportscarclub.com. We have the last autocross in America that is run on public streets at a big outdoor festival the last weekend in July (Bele Chere).
Several Evos, STis, and other cool cars. Lots of weird people- but then I are one.
Also check out www.WNCRides.com for the drifting and customizing scene.
And don't forget to ride the Tail of the Dragon, and go up Town Mountain Road or Elk Mountain Scenic highway; much better than any Florida on-ramp ever thought about being!
On of the Evo guys up here was on the team that finished fourth overall this year at One Lap of America; he's SoloEvo on this and the Highlands board. He's young and talented; I'm old and treacherous.
Enjoy the mountains!

I have a friend that just moved up to Ashville he is a cop. On weekends he likes to cruise in his 71' chevelle that is red w/black racing stripes. I go up there on the weekends some because I only live a little over an hour away. I drive a silver 03' evo.

I took my Evo there once to see my hippie friend. That's mostly what you will see there: hippies..lol. Plus, watch out for all those damn scooters flying around. Mountain runs will make up for anything you don't like about it.
PS: no offense against hippies, i've partied with the best of em.
