check out this article written in the "New York Times"

Breaking the Myth of Megapixels
one of my favorite quotes:

"It goes like this: “The more megapixels a camera has, the better the pictures.”

It’s a big fat lie. The camera companies and camera stores all know it, but they continue to exploit our misunderstanding."

I'll continue using my "little" Sony 6MP

I had been looking at Camaras for a while to replace my old one.
That one was a cheap 3.1 MP that I got at a clearance sale at Waltmart 3 years ago.
This new one was on sale for the same price as the 6 MP, 7 MP, and 8 MP ones.
The thing that sold me was the 5x lens zoom, and then an extra 5X digital zoom. Also the Panoramic feature for taking a wide shot picture, and the most important was the Hi-Definition video mode with sound and Lens quality.

The Panoramic Mode for when all the Evos are parket in a row, I can take 2 or 3 pics in this mode and fuse them together to get all the Evos on 1 wide pic, .

The HD video mode for Hi quality video of the meets, etc.

I also like the feature where the Camara has a histogram icon and you can see the graph of light and brightness.

My old camara was a 5 billion year old Raptor compare to this one.

I can,t wait to test at the meet.

Tru that! Is not all about how much megapixels you have. It helps of course but the most important feature of a good camera is the lens and its reach. The more optical zoom, the better the pic and there other things like shutter speed and options like consecutive shoots for fast moving pics and so on.

Canon make the best cameras, then Nikon.

Nonetheless, the Kodak are also excellent cameras and 5x optical zoom is better than average.
