I'm going with the 4WS stock transfer case for 1500. I need to talk with ecp to get a quote then I'm going to go see the Navy-Marine Relief Society and try getting the money. My mom suggested that I go to the bank and try getting a credit card and pay for it that way.

Sorry but I don't have the time or money to buy and rebuild another transfer case. I just need to get my car up and running.

I'll worry about rebuilding or buying a stronger transfer case later on down the road.

I was talking about the TRE tc. Don't go stock might as well make this a forced upgrade ya know? But hey it's your money and all and Navy Relief will probably give you the money as long as ECP tells them it's a stock one and not a upgraded performance one. As for the gauges I'm still debating whether I want to spend that money on gauges just yet. But I will let you know this week.

I suggest getting the TRE one (obviously). Several reasons actually:
1. If you are going to spend the money, spend it only once.
2. You never know how someone else drove their car, and since the TC is such an important part in your drivetrain, i wouldnt take any chances.
3. 22k could be more like 122k depending on how they drove it.
4. Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society, easy way to get a loan. Since its 0% interest, its almost like saving the money for it anyways (instead of the money going into your savings account, it goes into theirs).

Thats my suggestion tho. Good luck with it man.

I see what you guys are saying. I'm convinced. I'll see it ECP can get the TRE stage 4 transfer case for me. Then I'll get a quote from them and show it to the NMRS and get this **** taken care of.

Don't get me wrong, I am paying him back. I have a 300 dollar allotment set up for the next 10-11 months going straight to his checking account. I just have to call ECP tomorrow to see which transfer case my dad payed for, not that I can change that but I'm just curious.

That's good that you set up an allotment to pay your dad back. Like I said before, if you pay him back you show him that you are financially responsible and if something like this ever happens again he will be willing to do it again.

This isn't the first time he lent me money. He knows I'm good at paying him back.
