yup...she's def. in the 11's.

Problem is, I have to re-learn to launch. She bogs a little now with this setup....and I'm running outta 4th gear wayyyyy before the finish. Each run tonight I was clutched in at least 70' before the finish b/c she was bouncing off the limiter.

Also...the clutch is officially DEAD! last run rpm's were were just going to redline and the car was barely moving. She's DONE.

haha... pull the clutch and then send off the tranny at the same time. Get that VIII 4th and you will be good to go. Once you learn to launch it, she will be pretty easily in the mid 11's and probably low 11's on meth. Congrats man.

How are the AFR's ? at Idle ?

yeah...she's dead! Last launch/run every gear the rpm's went to red line. Car barely moved! hahahaha

A local shop owner here has a "deal" on a twin carbonetics clutch. Thoughts? I'm still leaning towards the exedy twin hd but he can get me carbonetics for half the price. And yes. If the clutch is coming out, the tranny is going off to shep trans. When that's all off to the shops, i'm gonna pull the head. Do the springs/retainers, headstuds, and a gates timing belt.

nice vids! It was BOB killing the clutch tho!

No worries. Yeah, you can hear that bish revving to redline each time.

Jason, I flashed the car before running it. I haven't had it sitting at idle to see what she's doing. I'll let you know.

The 11.9 was crap. I ran outta gear at the finish, and bogged at the line. Speed was only 103 so I know theres a lot left in her!

Wow 11.9 at 103?? That should be easily good for mid 11's!!

Also i you run 11.9's at Coastal you will be faster other places. Coastal sucks ***!!

The Exedy Twin is the way to go IMO. I had the Twin HD in my MR and it was nice! Only tracked it a couple times with that clutch but it held up awesome! For some reason Dynoflash removed my 2-step.

Yeah. I can't explain how she pulls down the track. My clutch is crap...and right now my tranny is so notchy. Not to mention running out of 4th gear. Once I get all this situated, mid 11's all day.

so i'm going to go with Shep Trans for the trans work. Does anyone suggest the buschwacker over shep stage 2? In the writing, I'm pretty sure it's just a Shep trans anyhow. I'm probably going to beef up the t-case while it's out. I'll send both to shep trans for quick turn around.
